getPropertyName

public abstract String getPropertyName()

Name of the property this binding represents.

Returns:

name of the property

setValue

public abstract void setValue(Object v)

Changes value of the property. Can be called only on dedicated thread. See Technology.runSafe(java.lang.Runnable).

Parameters:

v - new value of the property

getValue

public abstract Object getValue()

Obtains current value of the property this binding represents. Can be called only on dedicated thread. See Technology.runSafe(java.lang.Runnable).

Returns:

the value or null

isReadOnly

public abstract boolean isReadOnly()

Is this property read only? Or can one call setValue(java.lang.Object)?

Returns:

true, if this property is read only

weak

public abstract PropertyBinding weak()

Returns identical version of the binding, but one that holds on the original model object via weak reference.

Returns:

binding that uses weak reference
